“I retired from Briggs and Stratton in 2016, where I was the manager of the Corporate Business Planning team. Our team focus was creating an Annual Operation Plan based on sales forecasts for millions of unit sales per year, then executing that plan through worldwide manufacturing facilities.

I met Mike shortly after my retirement, while I was preparing for our first-ever event focusing on LEOs in our area, the “Back the Badge – Law Enforcement Appreciation Day”. It struck me that he had this newly formed organization called “Band of Blue” and just how much passion he had in moving his vision forward. At that time, it seemed a perfect fit for donating any potential proceeds over the cost of our event, allowing that money to stay within the Law Enforcement community AND provide support for those families and children that have suffered such a tragic loss. As a father and grandfather, this struck a special chord in my heart.

In 2018, Mike and I discussed the potential of joining Band of Blue. Having had the chance to get to know Mike and his wife Sarah, I felt honored to be part of their mission. I hope to bring my organizational skills in business management to assist this wonderful team of people help those children and families at the time they need it most.”
